1 1/2 pounds ground beef or ground turkey
1 package taco seasoning
1 can) pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 can tomato sauce
1 can Mexican-style corn or whole kernel corn, drained
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup coarsely crushed tortilla chips
Your Favorite toppings, such as sour cream, sliced green onions, shredded lettuce
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F. Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain. Stir in Seasoning Mix, beans, tomato sauce and corn. Bring to boil then simmer. Put in 13X9 baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and tortilla chips. Bake until cheese is melted. Add toppings if you like - our kids prefer it plain, I add sour cream and onions for my hubby and I.
This is a $10 meal and also lasts us 2 meals. This one is a favorite of my youngest 2 boys!
